What is a favicon file and how do I place one in the shop?

A favicon is an icon that is shown in the tab of the browser and in the search results of a search engine. Because the screen resolutions are getting better and better there is a need for favicons in several dimensions. Because of that, we generate the favicon in 16x16, 32x32 and 96x96 pixels. 

You can upload the favicon in the Back Office under Template Settings. Most shopkeepers use their logo as a favicon. For the favicon you can use .GIF .JPG and .PNG extensions with a maximum of 100kb.
