How to hide a page in the navigation
updated: 25 January 2016
Would you like to make a specific page visible only via a link the footer? Or do you have a special promotional page that you only want to share on social media? Whatever the reason, you can choose not to include a specific page in the navigation, but feature the link to this page elsewhere.
Here’s how:
- Create a new main page with, as a subpage, the page that you do not want to include in the navigation, but rather feature as a link elsewhere.
- Then select ‘Hide page’ for the main page and subsequently, ‘Only hide this page’.
The main page is now hidden, but the subpages can still be accessed via a direct link.

Tip
To find the direct link to a hidden page go to the menu for your subpage and click ‘Show the link to this page and copy it’.
