Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Most online stores owe their visitors to search engines. That’s why we recommend you register your store with Google's Webmaster Tools, register your sitemap and monitor your statistics via Google Analytics. Your goal? To achieve a high ranking! - The name of your online store is featured in the title of every page. That’s why we suggest you add some additional information to your store’s name. Concretely, instead of ‘Interiordesign.com’, you could go for ‘Interiordesign.com – Furniture, lighting and gifts!’.
- Don’t call your homepage ‘Home’, but rather ‘Furniture, lighting and gifts!’
- Enter the right meta tags for each page
- Use conversion keywords in your page descriptions and texts.

Make the most of your social network, or develop one from scratch! Nowadays, social media are everywhere. Not only do they help you reach your customers, they also help you identify your customers’ wishes. This is the easiest way to quickly get in touch with your target audience, so always be on the ball!
Facebook and Twitter may seem like the preferred social media channels, but Pinterest and Instagram are actually the two networks that generate the highest conversion rate – simply put, they encourage people to place an order. Analyze where your target group likes to hang out and think of the best way to make your voice heard via those channels. A newsletter can attract a lot of visitors to your online store. To develop a good newsletter, you need to define your goals, develop a schedule, and come up with interesting news and offers. And on top of that, the newsletter needs to be convincing too. Start blogging! Social media is great, but it doesn’t allow you to fully express yourself, particularly if you have so much to share about your passion. A blog linked to your online store is the ideal tool to share your story. Not an avid writer? No worries, maybe you can ask a blogger to write a post about you and/or your store. Another option is to ask a blog to feature an exclusive review of your store. Either way, blogging is the way to go!
Advertising can be done through many different channels. One of these is Google AdWords. A commonly used method to drive more traffic to your online store and to persuade to sell. You can get started with this yourself or make use our partners to optimize these campaigns.
